The Story of a droid

This is where I'll post updates of any progress on my droid building as a personal log and hopefully to help others in their builds.
I'm sure this will be a project that lasts a long time and will never be truly be finished, as there will always be room to squeeze something new inside ;)

Catch up so far...

Over the last year and a half I've been busy sourcing parts from around the world. 
So far I have amassed a huge amount of aluminium and debt (a side effect of droid building it would seem). And now it's time to pick up tools and build a droid!

So far this year (2012) I've been doing mostly the electronics for the Dome and control for the dome motor. Also been distracted with the iPhone control which is working well, so far =)

I had a few ideas for banners for your Droids either at events or just for home displaying.

Also shown with my own R2 Builders logo, other options will be Droid Name printed on the banner and varying droid outline depending on R series required!

Tell me what you think. I will be selling these as the roll up banners with Aluminium base (ofc!!!) with a carry case etc if there is enough interested in them!

Time to get serious for CE2!!

Over the next few days I intend to blizt R2 into shape with improvements and "just getting it working" so it ready for the road trip of it's life!
